<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/5005623/?claim=7gd9jfr7v5s">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
Can someone tell me what this does? Is it really necessary? It seems suspicious to me.
Am I allowed to include photos in the post? Here are some from our drive in the country last week. The farm photos are from an area outside Staunton Virginia and the town photos are of Lexington Virginia. I just found out my cousin is moving from Oregon to Lexington. We had to check it out.
Have just started following you on bloglovin Maureen. I have no idea how this is going to work but I have installed the changes anyway. It looks a nice place to be moving to.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is necessary. I read my blogs from my list. I think this replaces the old google reader.
ReplyDeleteBloglovin allows followers to be notified when you write a new post. I've been following a few for a few days just to see what it's like. Once a day I receive an email from Bloglovin with a list of the blogs that I'm following, who have added a new post. This may be the preferred method of following your blog for some of your readers, so no harm done in joining! As soon as my desktop computer is returned to me after some major repairs, I will add the Bloglovin icon to my homepage, enabling followers to be notified of a new post. Is it necessary? No, but many of your followers will appreciate it! Loved your pictures! Sorry I rambled...
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful little town Lexington is, and of course I love the countryside too, so green!!!! I finally made the bold step into Bloglovin land yesterday, the transfer from Google Reader went smoothly, just have to get used to this new format. I haven't put a Bloglovin button on my blog yet, so probably will when I next do a post. This morning in my email there were several notifications of new posts that came in overnight from blogs I follow, not sure if I like that too much, as I can see that my emails will get bogged up with these notifications, may opt not to get email notes from Bloglovin, prefer just to go to the Bloglovin site and catch up on blogs I follow there, we'll see!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely pastoral scenes. And That looks like a quaint little town. If I had to live in a town I would love it to look like that! : )
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very beautiful part of the world.
ReplyDeletecharming town~!!~
ReplyDeleteand one can only imagine that it has it's own pastoral scenes nearby . . .
i'm totally confused by the whole bloglovin thing and am choosing to ignore it for now. i'm not sure that's the right thing to do but then again, i'm not sure it's really hurting anything either.
not much help am i ?

I already follow you on bloglovin'! It actually works pretty good.:)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a wonderful place to live - very nice country side and a lovely looking town. I understand if you don't use google reader you are ok not to change to bloglovin... however I did, so that any followers who were with bloglovin alone still had the option of following me... and me to follow those who were only accessible through it....however as you cant write posts through it, I now don't think that was totally necessary on my part. The change was painless so I figured I've lost nothing in the process! I wonder about going to my bloglovin 'home' and seeing that I have 600 unread posts!! Oh dear!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been there. You just brought back some wonderful memories of a wonderful trip. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI love the countryside photos.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful, sunny day.
I have signed up to Bloglovin too.
Oh my, oh my!!! What beautiful photos!! Of course I love the country side, but the town looks so fun!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about all the claiming stuff either. As of right now (Monday, July 1) I still have Google reader up and running on my desktop. I think the GR app was leaving for those that use mobile devices (that is what I was told anyway) but I did bloglovin too - so I'm still in touch and it didn't seem to mess anything up for me.!!
Blessings sweet friend!
Love Lexington and the surrounding area. Actually I love the entire state and we enjoyed a long weekend there a couple years ago. Enjoyed the vineyards there too.
ReplyDeleteI've been an absent Bloggermlately but plan to get back in the swing of things soon.
Oh my Maureen, delightful pictures, the town looks so inviting!!
ReplyDeleteI don't really understand all of this either??? I'm still with Google Reader and still in touch with blogger friends so far...so good! XXXX my fingers are crossed that there will be no more confusion.
:) Carolyn
